Can you fit a 6.5 in the front doors of a GP?

So i just acquired my GTP yesterday and the stock stereo blows.. Or rather is blown. the speakers sound like crap, the headunit is only AM/FM/CD. I plan on putting in my decent stereo that i have used in my last three cars, JVC headunit with USB,AUX, and Bluetooth, PDX5 amp, Type R 10" sub... now where Im stuck at is the front speakers... I have 6.5's but the stock is 5.25. it looks like the speakers kinda sit forward into the door and was wondering if there is any issues with putting 6.5's in. if anyone has done it could you post a quick pic of them? I just wanna see how there are mounted so I know what I am dealing with before I start ripping out the stock stuff and replacing it.

I was able to fit 6.5" components in my doors of my 97 gtp coupe

any chance I can get a pic of the mounting?
