Just bought a 99 GTP with the bose system in it, and i want to operate my subs with it. Had the subs in a 99 SE with an aftermarket deck (which had subwoofer outputs), also in a 93 Sunbird with a stock deck (no subwoofer outputs). For the Sunbird i used this thing my buddy gave me (no idea what it's called) where you run your rear speaker wires through it, and it goes to RCA so i could run it to the amp. It wasn't the best sounding setup in the world, but it hit decent and was good enough for me. Tried the same setup in the GTP, and it sounds like absolute CRAP.

Is there any way to go about hooking up a decent sub system to a stock head?

If i absolutely have to I'll buy an aftermarket deck, but i have a 12-disk changer in the trunk and also the steering wheel controls that i really don't want to give up.

I think you have to wire the Headunit to the Bose Amp in the trunk and the bose amp to the Sub Amp.....My friend has the bose system and explained to me how he did it but I cant remember right forsure...

well that, for the most part, is what i did.. maybe i'll tweak with it for awhile.. not in too much of a rush, decided i'll probably end up buying an aftermarket deck anyways
