s/c ic l32?

Soo..I'm confused about something, is there a s/c Ic that goes directly under the s/c? I've looked at zzp and w-body. More glanced than looked. But curious about them if that's what they are? How do they work? And how hard of an install?? I'm thinking about getting one not only for a little performance, but keep my engine/ s/c cool and not heat soaked. Maybe also keep the life of these a bit longer..?

An intercooler cools the air charge going into the intake manifold and cylinders.

They sit under the supercharger.

They don't prolong the life of any engine part.


There are many threads on installs and what they look like.

I have one on my car. You have a FMHE which sits where a turbo a/a ic would sit in the front bumper, then you have the ic core which sits under the blower. A pump pumps coolent through the FMHE to the IC Core and around to cool everything off. Works great. Wont prolong anything more for adding power

Thanks for the great info guys! I didn't know that it wouldn't help prolong anything. I've heard running e85 and keeping things cool can prolong engine life/ wear and tear, just didn't know if this was a case. Thanks again!
