Rollmaster double chain installation q's

Anyone install their chain other than 0deg with an aftermarket cam? Other q I have, with the rollmaster double, we don't use the tensioner, but the tensioner bolt hole goes straight through to the crank.. do I need to plug that or does it just provide more oil splash for lubricating the chain? Thanks for the input.
 


Degree the cam then you will know where to set it. Or just set it at 0 and go with it. Mine ended up there anyway after an hour of screwing around learning how to degree
