I really have a hard time locating parts or tuners in Vegas. anyone know.

no parts dealers for sure --- the bone yards are spotty (don't know what year you're working on) and there's not a GM dealer worth a sh*t here. there's a couple of tuners -- NRP - Nevarez Racing Products - Las Vegas, NV (check out their golf cart) and wickedhp.com. haven't used either of them but have talked to Navarez who sounded like he knew what he was talking about but gawd awful pricey.
down off Boulder? yeah --- but they've taken pretty good care of me. I slide the cholo a couple of bucks from time to time and my pricing is awful good. there's a sign on the back side of the check in shack with prices for most of the "standard" stuff so you won't pay more than that. they don't have a lot of GP selection tho --- and that one up in NLV on Lamb is a f'ing pit with even less to choose from. last time I was up there the only GP they had was burned to the point where literally nothing was worth pulling off of it.
I don't do a lot of looking around the boneyards this time of year though --- lol
he's a nice guy for sure --- and like I said he knows a lot about GPs from the sound of it but he wanted $450 to tune my 98 on the dyno .... which is stupid money. he says he'll touch it up if you change something for $50 if he does a tune on it.i've heard of NRP but never went down.
I was thinking about going to check out wicked to see what's up and maybe have him change the fans on my '05 for my 180 thermo. they're both up at the speedway pretty close to each other.
what are you driving?
Ya i don't go up to hendertucky anymore. and there's a few W-bodies over off lamb, but really picked over.
but i heard there was a GP friendly garage up by the speedway... need to go check it out see where they would go to get a supercharger.
i drive a slightly modded black 02 GTP.
You?
have you checked ebay? there was one on craigs list a couple of months ago that the guy was about giving away --- think he was asking $150 with intake. it's long gone now but its worth keeping an eye on CL for deals.
mind me asking what's wrong with yours? anything a coupler can fix? I just don't trust any of the ass-clowns this town tries to pass off as mechanics.
And I've got two GTPs --- a 98 and an '05. the 98 is my DD, lowered, GMPP handling kit, downpipe, overkill pcm, intake, 3.5 pulley and shift kit. It's a red coupe with black windows. My 05 is pretty much stock since it's the wife's ride. I've got a small pile of stuff to put on it when the weather breaks but nothing big -- she doesn't want it lowered but she'll take more power. <grin>

no the coupler is fine. there's a crack right after the intake and it's not anywhere i can simply modify it a little bit to keep it running. besides the sc and the mani have 130000 on em anyways. so i'd rather spring for a new s/c all together rather than the case.
and ya i discovered the problem for myself. i don't let mechanics touch my car since they broke the throttle cable at the tb on my mustang. change my own EVERYTHING ever since.
there's a guy over on another forum, gtpgeorge who is selling a 45K gen 3 that he's listed as "excellent" for $250. I just did business with him and he did a great job by me. not sure what the rules are but if you like CLUB about GP try adding a .com and dropping the about and search on his name he'll fix you up if he still has it. probably the best one I've seen --- hell, I almost bought it just cuz. lol
