I've got a list of over 30 people, names and phone numbers who would be 100% committed to buying a set of reproduction GPO grilles, if they were brought back into production (regardless of who does it). So you can't tell me there's "no demand"
I had people messaging me on facebook non stop for about a week, when they found out I had 2 set's of GPO grilles That I was willing to sell. You wouldn't believe me in a million years if I told you what I sold each set for.
Don't get me wrong, If Spencer or somebody else decides to pull head from a$$, and get back at making more Rep GPO grilles, before I get my molds made, and produce some, I would Buy a few (3-5) set's just cause.

the demand for the product is the only reason why he made the run he did last year. 30 really, 30 isn't enough, IMO. But one advantage is he has a mold already made. If I recall correctly there were like some 100 commitments and then when made, people waffled! Maybe getting the $ up front and then telling them they will have to wait until the magic # is reached to order and then wait still until they're made, it might work. Again, lmao. No BS at all.
He would make more $ reproducing the Limited Edition Spoiler, lolz... But the ten people who'd buy it probably wouldn't make it worth while.
But contact him and see if he'll make a new run and what'll take. I don't now him nor am I his spokesman so give it a shot.

So what's the story behind the GPO grills? Did they come stock on certain models at some point, or what? I was poking around and couldn't find where these originated from.

They were custom made to look like the gto . You don't see them anywhere because there was only a limited number made, then there was a lot of interest so a few years later more were made I think by someone else and that was a few years ago.
