    Just buy the right size K&N and stick it on the throttle body. Cost is like $40.

    Do it like that ;

    Just remade my lazy cone on maf on stock accordion this way, costed me 16$.

    2 x 3" Silicone couplers, those with the metal over and 2 fasteners, remove metal and rivets, put on.
    1 x 3" white ABS 45* fitting.
    1 x 2 1/2 up to 3 3/4" or 4" fasterner
    1 x 3 1/2 or 3 1/4 cone filter.

    Make a hole in the upper coupler, stick the pcv fitting in there, I made a rough hole, about 1/8", with an olfa knife blade and tested for vac leak after, no leak.

    well i bought the stuff tonight, and put it all in and i think its gonna work. Kinda disapointed though, on my 03 gtp you could hear the suction at idol with the hood closed, this one my 04 you really gotta be on the gas in order to hear anything different from normal, and even then its not a real lot..

    An intake won't add any power, just make the blower whine heard more because the air box is gone.

    Different intake design and throttle body design from 03 and 04 make the sounds different.

    You heard the suction on your 03 because the throttle body had a idle air control valve which makes that sound at idle. 04+ have electronic throttle bodies which move the whole tb blade so you don't hear the same noise at idle.

    k thanks thats the answer i was looking for. and to others yes they do add anywhere from 8-15 horse according to manufactures, that is enough to notice not much, but its some. i checked my mileage today, and seems like i gained almost 2 mpg im gonna watch it a little longer to see if it keeps going up..

    No they do not had 8-15 horsepower. They just don't. Do you believe the manufactureres that claim 100hp with an electric supercharger thing? And you sure that 2mpg wasn't due to a lighter foot on the throttle?

    if you gained 1 hp you'd be lucky. it will get better mpg if you light foot the hell out of it tho.
