Sort fo scouring the local JY, maybe a local upholstery shop could fix you up?

Besides locating a GXP cashmere seat in decent condition, it comes down to how far away you live from a salvage yard or a private owner that has one, and whether they would be willing to ship it to you, and would you be able to travel to buy it.
I am on car-part.com quite often and have located many parts (WE are all lucky that we chose to drive a popular car, I am impressed how many GP's of all kinds are still in salvage yards) I live north of Pittsburgh. Upon searching for 2005-2008 seat front (bucket AR9) (leather, electric LH) in northeast (zip code 15238) the top listing was for a salvage yard in Boston, PA (which is southeast of Pittsburgh) The cashmere seat (bolter section) in the red GXP looks decent, price $50. So, at least you know there is one.
I usually do not do a search on there and have the part come up so quickly. There are photos available of the GXP and the seat. You said you have had no luck in finding anything near you. Keep searching, you never know.
2 more things you may try (maybe you already have) is go to Facebook and join some of the Grand Prix groups, and ask others on there if they know of any GXP's in your area. Also, in many locations, Craigslist still has Grand Prix listings under the section "For sale", and "Auto Parts". For the heck of it, I searched some of the cities in the midwest and north of Kansas, and I was impressed how many Grand Prix (and GXP) parts came up. Too bad not all want sellers out there want to ship parts. I saw some decent "GXP calipers", a full set front and back. Also, I saw Gen V superchargers. It seems on Craigslist in the Northeast, there is not many people selling any 97-03, or 04+ parts.
And as far as locating a cashmere driver's seat (that is located far from you) you may try asking if the salvage yard or car owner be willing to try to remove the leather skin from the seat itself. Obviously the leather skin could then be shipped to you.
But anyways, here is the car-part.com site address for listing of front seats. Good luck. car-part.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi
