I know this is a long shot, but I'm looking for an 04-08 5 button DIC for my 2005 base model. The difficulty will be in the mileage. It needs to have less than 100,000 miles on the odo. I've heard conflicting info regarding what will work in my car as it is a base model with the N/A engine. I've heard that GXP DICs wont work with a V6 car. Any input there would be appreciated. I do not need the entire bezel assembly, just the DIC.

The mileage is the key lol. My grand prix has just under 76,000 miles, and I would like to switch out DICs when the mileage matches. I only plan on owning the car for a few more years, and thats simply not gonna work if the DIC I get is at the average of 150,000-250,000 miles. I've owned the car for 13 years and have only managed to put 76k on it lol. Also, I've heard that while it IS possible for the mileage to be reprogrammed, it is nearly impossible to find a dealership that will do it, as it is usually illegal to do so.

So, If you can get power to any of those DICs and figure out the mileage, then we can talk. I really appreciate your reply though, thats the best part about this community, all the people willing to help!
