Looking for a few things to finish off my setup.

    Gen V?

    Ssm90 fuel rails Gen V

Ssm90 lower. Doesn't matter if it's gen III, I'll open the inlet.

Anyone have a double roller crank gear machined to fit?

    Thanks!

I went ahead and ordered new retainers and an hv3 from zzp. Looking for a bit more power and hopefully some reliability out of this build this time.
    07 Grand Prix NA
    1.6 roller rockers
    Ls7 lifters
    New comp cams pushrods
    105 springs
    Gt cam
    3.29 with hd diff
    17" Impala wheels
    Headers
    Hv3
    Shift kit
Aluminum caliper dual piston front brakes from f body.

Armed with hp tuners tuners hopefully I can find 180hp and a nice sounding daily.

Or topswap and with all your currently planned mods run a 3.4 on a gen v and make over 300 hp 😀 yaa!! But seriously definitely do the fbody brakes. Out of all the mods I've done that's deffinately in the top 3. Huge improvement.

I wish! I popped my last top swap and I don't have the money to try and pull it together now especially if I get something wrong again and lose another motor.

Well atleast if you change your mind you'll still have a good setup right off the bat. Supercharged cams would obviously work better but I've seen a few people have pretty good success running gt cams on topswaps.

If you don't mind me asking what happened that caused your motor to go out last time?

I just failed all over the place. I'm trying street tuning on my own and the numbers just weren't right. First one cracked #1 piston and the second time actually I spun a rod bearing. I had the cam in both and it came back out ok so I got a junk yard l36 and kept the cam and other mods. I've been running stock springs until now and I needed those 105s. I've been afraid I might drop a valve.

The guy I got the cam from said it is a comp cams grind similar to the Vs cam so it's not a gt cam. SC cam on NA is kind of retarded but it's a bigger cam so I figured there may be some gain anyway. This way if I find an ssm90 or I decide to go turbo I'm good to go. Until I pop this one. Blah.

That's crazy, seems like a bunch of bad luck. I don't understand why people say our bottom ends are bullet proof. It seems like everyday I come on here and someone has spun a rod bearing.

You'll still make some good power with that cam. You'll probably just lose some low end torque since most supercharged cams have extra lift on the exhaust and for na you would want more lift on the intake generally speaking.

That's what I'm counting on and I'll see if the HV3 will help. I think the L67 and L32 does much better at being beat on with beefier rods and pistons. If this setup does well until next tax time I might top swap again and get an actual Dyno tune.

The l67 doesnt have tougher rods or pistons. The l32 does have stronger rods though. I'm topswapped. Pretty surprised I haven't broken anything yet. *knock on wood*

Best of luck with all of that. I got the springs Saturday and they're awesome. Thanks again.
