Thread: ISO: 2005-2008 Grand Prix GXP transmission

I'm looking for a good working 2005-2008 Grand Prix GXP transmission. 5.3l engine, NOT the 3.8l. Please contact me with the miles on the trans, other important info, and price.

FYI just the bare trans case with the LS4 only starter mount is a 600$ core. they commonly crack off the bellhousing ear when removing the starter (alignment pins corrode in place)
if youve searched car-part.com/LKq or Morad parts already and your trying to find something cheaper....good luck, with a used trans your far more likely to get a weak/ready to fail unit than you are with the 3800 trans. for this it seems no Jyards offer warranties on the LS4 tranny's.

you may want to talk to dave Norris at Triple edge performance in indiana for a built trans and not look back. be careful with removal as you wont get your core charge back if you break your case....
