I'm sorry if this has already been talked about, and point me in the right direction if it has...

I have been looking into projector headlights (halos) for months now and have gotten to the point where I am now looking for advice.

What ones fit the best, and are not outrageously price beyond belief? From what I've seen, they range anywhere from $180-$300. I don't want anything cheaply made, and I want them to fit like they are supposed to, with no large gaps. I love the one piece designs. I have a 2003 grand prix gtp with the (not so) lovely two piece design.

What has worked for others if you've put them on your car or have known others to put them on theirs?
Thanks in advance ladies and gents.

A lot of people are going to tell you to get retrofits. These provide the best light output. A couple members make them on here but they run more $$$ than the eBay sets. I have an older set of spyder halos and have hid's in the projector. I think the light output is good but nothing to write home about. They all have problems, some bounce but usually some weatherstrip around the headlights will fix that.

Thank you so much for your input! Are they all $400-900 for custom on here?

Yes, $400 and up is what you should expect to pay for proper projectors. Classy does great work and uses GM housings. The 1 piece lights are aftermarket, and have heard they aren't the best for projector retrofits.

Here are the lights that Classy made me; I have 5K bulbs and they kick ass.....

Oh man, I couldn't live without my HUD. Overtime I drive a different car than mine, it's so weird and hard to drive, because I end up going too fast because I never check my speedometer.

I bought a real nice set of LED projector headlights from Xtralights website and they are much better than HID. The price is a little high up there (about $400+).

According to their website, they are Spyder style projector "crap" headlights with LED bulbs.
    http://www.xtralights.com/catalogsea...D%20Headlights

These are not better than HID's, and are no comparison to a retrofit. For the money you paid, you could have had a retrofit done and had the best possible lighting.

And their pricing is crazy. The headlights are on e-bay for $150-200, and LED kits are about the same if not less. They want $575 for a package?!?!?

I paid less than that for my retros and they blow away the output of your lights.
