Just so you know passenger side is supposed to be higher slightly that's why projectors are sold as north american sets or others. Driver side is slightly lower to avoid blinding oncoming traffic
Hey got a question for those who have done the retro and are lowered... im noticing some flickering/bouncing in the distance and also up close on the back of cars... i think it might be from the harsher ride from being lowered as well as vibrarion from having all poly mounts lol i do have the anti-bounce kit installed, just wondering if anyone has experienced this? Just something im going to have to live with due to the defined cutoff i guess..
Very little bounce here not really noticeable to me...quick questions did you get rid of the plastic tabs for metal ones ?
I get some pretty bouncing at a distance. My guess is we only notice cause now with a sharp light cutoff that we actually notice. I have metal tabs and anti bounce kit as well.
Redcompg, there are metal tabs to replace the plastic ones?... arent the tabs molded with the headlight housing though?
91parkave, Ya im sure i will just have to live with it lol, its not really that bad its just one of those things kinda like rattling for car stereos, just annoying and you want to find the source lol
And onetyme.. not sure about the ccfls bc i have the led rings, but im sure they will be fine. I like the added safety of them flashing, my turn signal/fog lights are smoked so the light is dimmer then stock.
Yup p/n 10388091
Just so were on the same page I'm referring to the little plastic tab that you essentially pull up to remove the headlight.. There's metal ones now that eliminate a good portion of the headlight bounce
Oh ya I have that.. thought you were talking about the tabs on the back of the headlight that go into the metal bracket
