It's actually a GXP but I don't think that matters. I bought the car with hail damage and PDR guys fixed everything but the hood. It was a new hood and paint. The first time the gap between the fenders and bumper was off. They got the fenders pretty good but the gap between the hood and bumper seems a little much. The hood seems level with the fenders and is setting on the lights. Is there a way to adjust/raise the bumper? Is this just normal, some cars (my 06) are just closer than others (my 07)?

    Here is a snap shot.

It's hard to tell how much of that is gap and how much is shadow due to the angle of the sun. I have a the exact same GXP (color and year). Mine has a bit of a gap. I don't believe it is as bad as yours, but its hard to tell. I would be interested in knowing if there is a way to adjust this.

The gap between the bumper and hood is normal, you won't be able adjust it any further.

I think for our car its another spot for air to get into the engine bay.

It is not a shadow, I took some more pictures with a ruler so you can see.

Thanks, I was comparing it to my GT and I did not know if the GT was better than average or if the GT is normal then the GXP was bad. I feel better now knowing the adjustments is the best it can be. I did not see any way to adjust it, but I thought I would ask. At least now the hood sits square in the fenders, same gap on all sides, and is level with the fenders.

The only other thing is the gap between the headlights and the hood, the passenger side is about 1/16" lower and the driver is touching. I guess I just need to get over it, not like it's a show car. :-)

Mine is the same. The gap bothers me, but every GXP I've seen has it.

Maybe it's the big engine pulling the front end down.
Cool car, like the black wheels on that particular car. Like someone else said, it is hard to pull off black wheels.

Thanks, it was definitely a process. I did a lot of research before I bought them.
Wait, so your wife has the GXP, AND the toy? Something's not right about that.
