I just put a new window regulator and motor in my 01 gtp coupe and I'm having issues with the bolt holes lining up on the bottom of the window and the regulator. I can barely get the bolts to go in but then the window must be too far forward because it goes up about half way then gets stuck on the front, tilts forward and won't go up. When I put the rear bolt in only it goes up just fine but the hole on the front doesnt come close to lining up with the hole on the regulator to bolt in. Is there some trick to doing this?
    I appreciate the help
    Thanks,
    Randell

I looked up part numbers for your car . If you got yours from napa there are two different styles that could work each one has a little bit different of mounting holes

My part number is REPP462904. Is there a way to adjust it when you install a regulator that I don't know about? I can get both bolts in but it's too far forward. When it's correctly fitting, the front hole is off by about a quarter inch

    Alright thanks I appreciate it.
Is there a way to adjust the regulator? Maybe if I move the front side up? But from what I can see I can't move it, it's all wired to the motor already and doesn't move except together

Does anybody know how to fix or align this? I'm tempted just to drill a new hole

If that's suits you sure . But there are two different regulators that. Will work for your car . It's most likely the other one . Gm changed then at some unknown point
