windshield tint is legal where you are osiris?
i got 35 up front 20 around the back, in NJ as well, no tint is permitted on the front windows at all. been pulled over for it to times so far, got one ticket, and i was pulled over just for the tint.
add night time, and rain, and 35% is hard enough to see out of. i dont know how you guys drive at night with it so dark.
first thing out of both cops mouths, cop: you know why im stopping you? me: no. cop: you have tint on all of your windows......
the cop thought he was smart and says you have tint on all 4 windows, im like its on all 8 sir. aka every piece of glass has tint, brows are also not allowed here, i got a 5% brow. then claimed i bought it like this... neither cop said to remove it. i just paid the one ticket i got, 60 bucks.
cant wait till inspection time. im sure ill fail cause of it. thank god for the 2 year inspection here now.
Jersey only checks for emissions now, scotty. I took my brother's catless f150 that should never, ever pass jersey inspection...passed.
In and out in about 4 minutes. Guy pretty much only asked me to get out of the truck so they could plug in the OBDII and scrape the old sticker out of the window
Its not legal, but not bothered by cops here if you are smart. I drive like a grandma so they don't watch me. In Wyoming darkest legal is 35% on the side's of a passenger car, but I have a prescription for tinted glass. Never been messed with in my last few trucks so im taking the chance. You can have as dark as you want on a truck except its 15% on front roll downs.

they dont do a sniffer test at all by me. they did nothing really, obd2 scan, and gas cap. but they did have floor cameras installed with a large monitor so they can see your cat.
i passed with 4 bald tires and a broken side view mirror and the abs light on lol
oh, and then got questioned about the old inspection sticker being a fake lol i did buy it like that tho. last owner lived in Newark, fake stickers are all over the place.
i hope i pass, im due in april.
yea kansas is 35 all the way around for cars trucks dont matter and missouri is 35 front doesnt matter on the rest of cars so since i live so close to the border cops dont **** with it its when i leave and go like 3 hours west i start having issues
That's what they did because of asshole trucks that cant aim headlights. I wasn't expecting the 5 on the rear glass, thought it was going to be 15 all around and the 50% windshield. But its done, you cant tell from the outside they are different but inside at night you can.

to be honest, 90% of the time looking at the car, i cant tell the fronts are lighter.
i went lighter in the front mainly to keep the cops off my ass. as im not supposed to have anything but factory tint on the front windows.
then again, i do see cars with 5% all around, and a very few cars with tinted windshields.<<<<dumb if you ask me.
Tinted windshields = retarded even I wouldn't do that and my eyes are very sensitive.
Sunny day's after a fresh snow here are horrible. It's like driving a pair of sunglasses. Wasn't wanting that dark but they talked me into it was just going to have 75 on the windshield. I like it, if I get popped for it it's just a fix it ticket, I peel it and go to the courthouse. It honestly doesn't effect night driving.

I'm considering 35% on the front 2 windows and 20% on the back anyone have pics of that?
LS1GTP 20% looks perfect if you get a chance throw up some night time pictures also cant get over how good it looks
