So I got me a new pillar pod from ZZP and I wanna paint it... I want it black... I am wondering if I should prime it first or not? Also should I use a clear coat or not?

Sand. Prime. Clear if you like. I would imagine that the sun would reflect off of it. Would be a distraction in my opinion.

See.. Sanding is not really a choice seeing as how the pillar pod is embossed...

OK. So today I primed and painted my pillar pod... For some reason there are like 3 spots the paint would not adhere to. So I am still working on it. Paint, dry, paint, dry till it is all covered.
