Where on earth did you get a quad gauge pillar pod? That looks awesome!!
Was it hard to do the gauges in the bottom near the cup holder?
And wasn't there any circuitry or anything behind the instrument panel cluster?
GTPPower were did u get ur dash shroud? i want one that says grand prix too
^ I believe it's from a limited edition Grand Prix probably eBay is your friend.
alright i been looking for weeks trying to find one
$70 dollars seem like a good price or is that wayy expensive for one?
Anyone know where to pick a 4 gauge pillar pod?
I saw the one on here but I guess that was a bonneville.
Sounds good. Good idea to put some there. I think having 3 on the pillar then 2 for that hud pod thing looks tacky. To many on the left side.
I know how it's done. We discussed it when he was doing it. How's your soldering and fab skills? That's how it's done.
Here's mine. Still have it
Here's me showing off the monitor on the dash of the Bonne. GP's got hosed bad on everything. Bonneville came with a stock boost gauge that read -10 to +10 lbs, and a stock oil pressure gauge. I was pulleyed and well over that +10 psi, 2003 SSEi gave me the boost gauge in the pics, swapped my cluster to one with the alt gauge and ran the seperate boost.
To answer you guys asking "how did you do that", here's a little information. While the Bonne is the better, cooler and comfier car...nothing aftermarket was hardly made for them. It's fab time. Round up your skills, talk to a few guys that have done mods of this sort and you'll find the actual interior paints, etc etc.
Mock things up and tape them together. Then lay some fiberglass etc. (Literally I glassed this in the car.)
Cut..shape...it's all part of the process (so is planning one gauge and then adding two more.)
Fit, test, add...rework, reshape
Realize how ugly it's looking and keep on going
Check against a sun faded pillar
And for Pat... Lake Bonneville!
That triple pod is sex
You find out little things about pods when you build them. Like...having gauges on your dash in the sun.. not the ideal place. The aeroforce would have to cool to be visible. After that, I used a sunshade.
Once I finally pick up my car I wanna see what gauge potential there is.
