    10,000k are pointless.

    if you want some blue, 6000k are the way to go.

    DDM tuning...they are on sale
    You can get a 35watt kit plus harness for $45...just gotta wait for 3-4 weeks to get em

    I got the 55watt 6k,with harness....for what they are I'm happy...they are probably just as good as any other China kit

    if 10k are that bad then i will get 6k or 8k i just would like to see what the look like when going down the road

    When it comes to brightness 5k's are the brightest. If you want some blue then go with 6k's. Anything over that and the luminosity drops off the table.

    I've heard there's a better chance of getting struck by lightning.

    As for the OP, if you're not willing to retrofit and just want as bright as possible, go 5000k. This kelvin rating provides the greatest amount of lumens.

    Also, as stated previously, it really also depends on the degree of blue you want in your lights. Personal preference, obviously.

    If you want legit good output you'll have to retro. Putting HID's in your stock capsule is stupid unless you modify the base so it projects properly. There's also an HID thread for this matter.
