10k is way too dark blue. 6k is blue enough. When you go past 5k you start to lose lumens of light (light output).

Blurry due to, I was driving when I took this picture. However, you can still see how bright 6k is on a dark road.

10k would be very blue, but you will also not be able to see more than 20 feet. if you want a slightly blue light 6k is the way to go, and you will still have the benefit of HIDs.
