After some searching I couldn't find anything definitive so I'll start a new thread.

I would like to upgrade my head lights with halo projector type. What are the best ones at a reasonable cost. Are the Ebay ones okay ? Any feedback on those?

What kind of bulb do you use in the projector?

Do you need an HID conversion for projectors?

    Thanks

retro fit progectors into your current houseings, you end up with a good progection of light across the road. output from ebay ones just plain out suck.

Cut your headlights from the back to fit a real projector. It takes work and is not as cheap as just settling for an ebay set BUT, you won't get the output a retro fit provides you with ebay headlights.

There are about 4 different styles of headlights for our cars (minus the different finishes they come in)

DO NOT GET THESE (terrible light output)
1997 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix New Smoke Halo LED Signal Projector Head Lights Set | eBay

These are what I feel give you the best output:
97 03 Grand Prix 1 Piece Black Halo Projector Headlights Corner 2in1 Upgrade | eBay

I had these and they were decent, compareable to above:
Blk LED Halo Rims Projector Head Lights Lamp Signal 1997 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix | eBay

The fourth one is just a refreshed design of the above, slightly different, in my opinion, slightly better looking.

Okay, disclaimer with getting ebay headlights:

They most likely will bounce (get weather stripping underneath them)
Output is not the BEST but better then stock
Mounting brackets are fragile and break easy

And yes you can wire HID's if you please, not necessary. I'd put HID's in any projectors to get better output. MAKE SURE YOU AIM YOUR HEADLIGHTS CORRECTLY. You don't need to be blinding people.

Thanks for all of that info!! Right now I have the stock housings that are cracked and water logged. I can't even tell a difference between dim and bright. Dims with the fogs on are brighter. I'm just looking for the something that will be an easy replacement with some style and at least stock performance.

And will I have to get bulbs for them? Is it plug n play or is there some wiring to do?

I like these too. Do these require Balast ? or any other modification?
