No.
Really you should use clear coat with some black in it from a paint spray gun to get it done right.
Otherwise you need VHT spray tint and some skills.
im using vht right now, but at the end you usually clear coat. so i was wondering if either of these would be a clear coat that is necessary.
I never clear coated mine and they turned out super glossy on my old car.
But if you want clear them, then polish to bring the shine back. I not sure I'd use those.
what are these for? but yeah that was my plan. i want to do a few coats of clear to protect the finish.
Couldnt tell ya, I just read enamel and think of that as not a clear coat for paint. And I dont read on the other one where it says its a clear coat for paint.
If you has pro skills use epoxy.
No idea what kind my friend used but he used an epoxy over the tint and holy crap they turned out like glass. Best part is the durability, he basically never needs to polish them at all and water rolls off too.
i mean if i cant use either of the two things in the picture, im going to have to go to the store anyway, so im just going to get a for sure clear coat. these are two things i found in my cabinet that looked like they could be clear coat. does anyone else know for sure?
Um... spray it and find out? We can't even see what the caps are so there is no way to tell.
cap included?.. i sprayed it and it seems to be clear, but im not sure if it will work good for tinting tails. my friend some how messed his up clear coating, but im not sure how, i just dont want to end up with a dull outcome.
If you don't feel comfortable using it then go to the store and buy something that you do feel comfortable with. It isn't that complicated.
i mean im no painter, i dont know if i should feel comfortable using it or not.... thats why im asking..
If you don't feel comfortable then don't do it. Read up, practice and wait till you know what you are doing.
Alright i just went and bought some. It wasnt glossy/clear, but i got some correct stuff.
If you want a glossy finish you should have gotten glossy paint. What kind did you get?
Idk some duplicolor clear coat stuff, it doesnt say glossy but its def not dull. Turned out good and shiny.
Then ill have to fix it when it does.
