Last week I installed some new mirrors. I need help installing the wiring for the blinkers/brake light.

Here is an image/gif of the mirrors.

I drive a 2001 Grand Prix Gt 4 door sedan.

Any advice on the best/easiest way to complete this would be appreciated.

Tap them into the blinkers on the corner lights?

That's what was done with my halo's.

Otherwise, not so sure...I'm not a wiring guy.

Not that you give us enough info, we need more. Who made them..what they have for connections etc.

Overall though, tap them into the rear turn signal. That way they don't come on and stay on at night.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that you can splice into the wires at the steering column. Perhaps explore that option. I have Monte mirrors that I am in the process on. I will update if I should finish before you.

    They're from ZS Racing.
Here's a pic from the inside.

And here's the wiring schematic they gave me.

Could I connect the ground inside the door panel or should I go outside of it for that?

Hold on a second on that.

Here is what I would do, it's only what I consider the best, easiest and cleanest way...so trust me when I tell ya how I'd do it. I used the factory pins and location in the factory connectors for my puddles and directionals.

I'd get the mirror side of the connector from a stock car with about 3-5 inches of wiring left on it. Then you connect your mirror to those wires, because you are going to have ground, up/down, left/right etc in that one connector. No reason to connect a ground to the structure of the door, when GM has a ground there for you to use in the wiring.

On the blinkers, I tapped in either at the bcm or where they ran along the body. All you need to do is find the schematic that tells you which wire and you are good.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

I used the wires from the old mirrors for the motoring. So, I'm not worried about that. It's just the wires for the blinkers/parking light I'm not sure on. Anybody know where I can get the car wire schematics or should I go to a dealer?
