    so im gonna do retros for my 2000 have no idea what im doing i need as much help possible

    I finished my Retro's last spring. I love them, hell of a lot of work though. I have a bunch of links that I used while researching how to's and troubleshooting problemsfor mine. Ill have to find them though.

    Find cleangtps old thread with his old photobucket account.

    Seems that most of his pictures got deleted but alot in his photobucket are still there and you can get an idea of what needs to be done.

    I have many pictures in my members ride thread of what alot of the cuts and fitting look like.

    Only the Morimoto Mini H1's fit inside the 97-03 housing and you can only use the mini gatling gun shrouds.

    i would use the stock headlights right and just put the shrouds in that right?

    so i checked it out can you put halos in there too? and the hids wont melt the plastic?

    Nope on the plastic melting, just don't use 55w, because it isn't good for the reflector bowls on the mini h1s. As for the halos, I think they make the size that will fit
    Does removing the spare count as weight reduction?

    270... holy balls.

    I had 120 in projectors and shrouds and then bought a hid kit for under 60. And bought new headlight housing and still came in under 250.
