I was wondering if someone could explain to me the best and safest ways to remove them. I will probably get them off of a junk yard car. Any advice or a link pointing to directions would be much appreciated.

use a flat blade screw driver with tape on the end, and slowly pry up the back, then slowly lift it up the rest of the way without bending it too much.

its only held on by some rtv type material and double sided tape.

I know but I have been checking quite often. It doesn't make a lot of sense for me to be looking with out knowledge of how to safely remove them.

are they hollow? would a little heat from a heat gun help make this easier?

also is there a dealership part number for them? I know you can't buy them but some yards organize by number

Screwdriver or something with a bent tip to pry them up like a hammers end, thats how i took mine off when i left them to spencer to get the molds done. they only have some very hard rtv glue and no tape at all. and no they arent hollow all plastic so they are pretty sturdy.
