So as the title states, has anybody tryed Shaving their trunk (debadging and removing and filling keyhole)

I bought a 01 Galaxy Silver GT, and I would like to see pictures of what the trunk looks like(shaved) if i make up my mind after seeing pictures of the turnout, i'll be shaving mine shortly, and i'll be making a DIY on the subject.

pictures, and links greatly appreciated, thanks a bunch

marglass is a fiber glass reinforced bondo that goes over weld joints and is water proof. if you put normal bondo over the area it might crack down the road.

    okay, thanks a bunch
now for the paint, would it be wise to go to the dealership and buy a can of factory match silver?? or (cause that sh*ts likely pretty expensive for a relativly cheap mod)

if you buy a spray bomb thats "matched" it wont be matched, not sure what your color is but if its white or black you could get a single stage paint for significantly cheaper. depending what spoiler you end up running you could keep your paint line under the spoiler to reduce cost or matte black out that section.

also with the SE/daytona spoiler you would havet o fill all the holes from the stock spoiler and drill 3 new holes.

I did both shave keyhole and put on a 40th spoiler and I would second not useing bondo over thr welds it will crack after like a week, use fiberglass body filler.
