I think I'm about to finally drop the bones on those black stock housings (with amber corners, not clear). I've seen them on pfyc (here) for $250 and what look to be the same thing on amazon for $150 and ebay for around $100. Are all of these the same exact thing? Some research shows that a few claim them to be made by Luminex, yet I've seen some less reputable sources (ebay ads) say that they're made by Spyder or other brands. I just don't want junk parts on my car, yet if they're the same thing, saving $100+ is nice. Can anyone clear things up for me?

They are all the same. Just as an FYI the chrome relfector is smaller on these than stock lights that are painted exactly like the black headlights.

Thanks for the info. Just bought a set from ebay for $108. I really hope the quality of them isn't disappointing...

Let us know how they work out. I'm considering it based on your outcome.

Will do. Keep in mind though that I don't care about the output. I know it'll be bad. I plan on doing a projector retrofit as long as I like them. I figure I'll put them in and drive to work with them once or twice to align them decently, see if there's bounce, see how other people on the road react to them (talking about glare, but there definitely shouldn't be any...). Also, I'm really picky about quality, so depending on how fussy you are, I could hate them and you could love them. I'll update you in a week or two!

all ebay lights tend to fog up a bit. my black corners, one of them at least, fogs up once or twice a week. you might want to think about resealing them.

and be sure to use your ORIGINAL brackets, the ones they send you are junk.

Alright, cool. Didn't think they needed to be modded, but they haven't come yet so I'm still playing it by ear...

For BlackFlag, I'd say these are a good buy. They're definitely cheaper quality than oem, but I expected that. They're really not too bad though, I wasn't disappointed. The light output might be slightly less than stock, but my old ones were a bit hazy and whatnot so if there is much of a difference, I can't really tell. I will eventually retrofit them anyway. And i'll second using stock brackets. I was going to run them as is for a few days, but it was really flimsy... Pick up a set on ebay for $100, they're worth it. I took a few pics of them so let me know if you want to see anything in particular.

Sure thing, but give me a couple days. I'll be back home where I can upload pics on tuesdayish. Mine have the amber side markers like that, though. I assume they're exactly identical. Get them from ebay, I paid $109 with free shipping from the user "cisforcar" or something like that. We got some rain up here and my corners started getting some condensation, like other people said. But I have lots of pics, i'll get some up when I can for you guys.
