Right at the moment I am in the "mode" of just changing the appearance of my car. I would like to stay with the white, chrome, and black color scheme. The reason this thread is called plastidip is because I want to add some sort of black design to the car without paying over $300 for custom vinyl. But I dont have any photoshop to whip up some designs that I would like so I was wondering if one of you guys could give me some ideas. Here is the link to my car.

    Thank you

Ever thought about getting black or carbon fiber vinyl strips for the "louvers/vents" on the hood to break it up a little bit?

I was thinking of some designs for the hood just because the scoops and vents are not really noticable. I know exactly what you are talking about. I was thinking of getting black roof rails along with black stripes on the outside of the scoops, with blacks louvers/vents.

it does peel right off, but you need it to be really thick or else you need to sand it off

oh so I think I am going to not go with plasti dip. Just from what you guys are saying I dont want to take the chance to ruin my paint job on my car. i think I might just go with vinyl. Thanks for the help.

I would just be concerned about it peeling off when you hand washed it/power washed. You may end up losing part of your design.

remember how i hit a deer doing 80?

passenger side and this has no touch ups
and to remove plastidip you really need to work out an edge to peel it
    multiple coats are your friend

just don't do what becky did and **** up some roof rails by going extremely thin and not spraying the parts right requiring them to be sanded down

Sorry, but plastidip looks like chit and doesn't seem to be a good idea......for anything! I don't really see the point in it.
