wow nice work!
lol beaver i was about to post the link to that thread. the difference is noticeable but not significant after sanding and polishing the clear coat. still a little dull
How do I get to be in the pictures of all the cars in STL?
what are you talking about lol?
come up to lindbergh one friday/saturday night when it stays warm out. we can talk
zr1, i forgot to mention that i sand the clear coat the next day after finishing the painting process. this is to get rid of the "orange peel" or textured look. I fixed this in the writeup
Mine are VHT'd too...without any clear...
yeah. just be sure to polish it right up.
that is perfectly ok. When i did my first set, i did not wetsand the clearcoat. One day about a year later, i decided to polish out the little texture there was, and it buffed right out with some polish.
Finished my tails up yesterday. Ended up doing more of a satin look with them. Still ran 3 coats of clear but kept the can further back to give a rougher/satin look. I'll thow some pics up when I get home from work
lets not get personal because I gave a reason to use clear...
pics and experience don't lie nick, sorry if that upsets you

BWHAHAHAHAHA!!
Oh please...experience. Your so full of sh!t you stink. And as for the no clear deal was a joke that MANY local people laughed at when I posted because they know how worked up you always get about it...those are professionally done. So, no VHT crap was used...it is actual auto gloss black paint...so...yeah...keep thinking you have given me a reason, when in fact you can't even shake a guy's hand without sh!tting your pants...oh man that was funny...still can't get over that. Look at the bright side though Tyler...Ed Morad remembers you as the little kid that couldn't speak or let go of his hand LOL
