    Flip on Gpona

Reality is any decent body shop can mix and spray it for you. Probably would be cheaper too.

    clear coat fixes everything,

prep, scuff, clean, tape off, clean, then tint, then clear, let it dry for 24 hrs. then wet sand with 2000 grit paper with soapy water, then buff with rubbing compound till its clear and shines.

I let the taillights cure with clear coat untouched for a week to fully harden then just used compound and wax

How many clear coats did you use when you first applied the VHT? If you can remember. I applied 4 coats. Took a long ass time to get the job done but I held a pressure washer to the tail lights for a while on full boar to see if they'd do damage, none yet and mine have been on for a year. I also only have 1 coat of VHT on too.

i use 2 light coats of vht, and 5 coats of clear, let them dry for a 2 days i think, then wet sanded and buffed. its got to be 2 years later now, they look just like the day i finished them.

every year i also run the pc over them with liquid compound, and then wax with the buffer as well. this takes out any small scratches they may have gotten over the year. the regal you kinda pop the trunk and grab by the top of the lic plate so your palm touches the center section of the tail lights and gets light scratches here and there, pc takes it all away.

crappy cell phone pic, but they still shine just like this, no flaking or nothing.

i really cant wait to fix the bumper, its awful looking.

I did 3 coats of VHT on my '99 last summer, no issues yet. Haven't been pulled over either.

2004 Comp G "The Panda"- low, e85, big brakes SOLD
2002 Trans Am- 6 speed, bolt ons or something, it's slow.
2006 Silverado- forged ls2, 4l80e, plate kit, also slow...
