I'm trying to decide which to go with the "Inferno Appearance Package" or the "06 SE Appearance Package" for my 04 Grand Prix GT. Does anyone have any suggestions cause I like both but can't decide which one to go with?

The entire Inferno package can cost you a lil more than $1,000 on pfyc.com, whereas the SE Appearance Package can cost around $700 when all is said and done. So if price doesn't matter, go for whatever you like best. I mean, the GP community can make suggestions left and right but it all comes down to personal preference. IMHO, the Inferno package looks a little too ricey for my tastes, except for the Inferno hood. That thing is hott! I wouldn't mind seeing an Inferno hood mixed with the SE Appearance package, which does not include a new badass hood like the Inferno package does. Could be a nice combination....Jeez, I hope some other 04+ GP guys start contributing to this section of GPF, Im glad to help but I dont want my opinion(s) to seem like the end-all solution
It seems the only downside to the Inferno package is that it doesn't have a rear extension or rear diffuser to match the front. They both look distinctly different but the SE package is direct from GM so it may be a better option.
SE FTW!!!!!
It's lines flow with our cars much better.
And if I'm correct, the Inferno front lip has no tabs what so ever to attach it to the bumper, unlike the SE. So you either us 3M tape or even screw it to the bumper tokeep it in place.
Doesn't the SE package have to be installed with 3M tape as well to make sure there's no gaps?
I love my inferno the front lip looks great, parts of the spoiler bug me mainly the straight on back veiw but other then that its slick looking IMO, looking to get the hood someday...
Did you regret that you bought the Inferno package after seeing the SE package?
Remember GM made the SE so its a direct bolt on part.. Its easy to install..
Anybody have any info on the tips and the side panels for the SE package? Also where can the SE package be bought for a good price?
The sides are almost the same.. A little lower but I would send my money on something else then the sides..
Would shipping cost for the SE package apply if ordered from the dealership?
Se package = butt freaking ugly,,, Inferno= sweet azz ride... I really love the look my car has,, I have not seen many GTP's on the road that look as nice as mine,, and when i get my new led tails and my rear facia with 4" tips, that will set it off even more,, trust me,, People think i have an extra 100 HP just from the look of my car..lol....I am so happy with my purchase, would do it again 100xs.....might do some pinstripes to add a little more fierceness to it soon.. dont know still, but good luck,, the front lip was not hard to put on at all, used a few small screws to make sure it stays, but painted them to hide them.... post pics when you decide what to do...
