Im interested in going forward with putting some grilles on my 00 grand prix. Ive seen a few different ones over a huge range of prices, but im not sure which ones are the best.

Can I get some pictures of grill inserts, how much they cost and what you thing about them after you have had them on for a while.

the street scene grills are the best, but most expensive. wbodystore makes something similar for cheaper. check those out.

Yup, no doubt the SS grills are the best you can get. I'll be getting myself a set of chrome ones when I get around to it, but right now I have the Fig grills from E-Bay.

I'm partial to the Trenz Billet Upper Grilles myself. I leave the bottom open so my FMHE has plenty of air flow, plus its polished too....

I like these from the w body store but they are out of stock. It deletes the mesh and looks pretty cool opened up like that.

Doubtful, the guy isn't going to make anymore. He said he might do one more run at it but after that, he's done.

couldn't you just make your own gpo insert's out of a spare set ? buy maybe doing something like this :

    1. First cut out the mesh from the grill insert (try to ge as close to the edge as possible)
    2. use a dremel with a sand wheel using xxxx grit sand paper
    3. After you have a the nubs sanded down and level with the rest sand down the rest of the insert using xxxx grit sand paper to prep for painting.
    4. Paint the inserts the color that you want and then re-install

rough draft not to much detail (just a thought maybe it would work maybe not if i had an extra pair around i would sure try it just to see)

Thats a really good idea. I was kind of bummed that they are not avalable but I think I am going to go to the bone yard and see if I can get a few sets of stock ones and give it a try.

i thought the fx grills were like velocity stacks that had a bit of mesh in the back of them? are they just open holes in the bumper?
