I did mine on all of my camaros because I'm not a fan of the ugly dirty black look. I always took them off sanded and polished them baby butt smooth... primered... painted gloss black.... decals... and cleared. I haven't tackled the GTP yet because I'm not sure on the color. This is my third purple car and I've always used black so I'm contemplating something different. As far as a F-body conversion look-a-like I would have to pass. Seems kinda "ricer-ish" to have something simulate an upgrade. Maybe I'm not seeing what Farns has up his sleeve

Yeah, i'm curious whatcha got farns and will it be availble before Branson?

As for my calipers, I painted all my brake and suspension pats gloss black. I don't really have a color theme for my car other than black and white. So really no other color would suit my setup I think, I maybe wrong though. My car is Artic White w/ Black Reflective White Overlays all around the car and of course suspension parts are black. I got chrome and polished accents here any there too of course.

I totally agree that having something to simulate an upgrade is rice, but thought I would ask and see what everyone else thought. I was right, were all on the same page here.

Will it be ready before Branson? I doubt it. I have soooooooooo much going on as it is doubtful even a prototype would be ready. You will have to see what I have done to my car since last year to under stand why I have been busy-busy making some quite unique one off production parts. Yes...from billet aluminum...and carbon fiber. Maybe for next year though, cause the same company who is going to do some water jet work, oops...dropped a hint there, is also going to help create something else for me which I know anybody would like on their '97-'03 body of Grand Prix. Regardless if your for speed or show...its something everyone can appreciate.

I'm keeping it in the dark here, cause last few times I said something on line a certain vendor copied for their profit gain. Not sure if they are viewing over here or not...but they have spy's everywhere I tell you. LOL

    Jason,

Just out of curiousity, you have the access to make stuff out of billet correct? (I want to make sure i'm understanding). There is something I need made for my car... It would be one off and I doubt anyone else could use it but me... if you're interested in hearing more PM me. I was wondering you or someone else could lead me in the right direction.

Yup, I have access to CNC machines, NC machines, and all the manual lathes you could shake a stick at here locally. Let me know if you want some help.

It will only benefit those who still run stock front and rear calipers for now, who are on a tight budget that want something inexpensive, but looks good.

If you have switched to the F-Body calipers...then your above this step in the mod game.

    You guys....

If i tell you, it just leaves the door wide open for somebody to steal the idea out from under me...again.

Once the prototype is out, and tested pictures will be up, and when they are up, that means there is production being made with a price point in mind right behind it.

I painted my first one tonight. I don't have the handy skills, so I have to do one tire at a time. I will do the other front tomorrow morning. It is not the greatest, but I think I can only get better for the next three. I need to clean off the rotor more next, or I may buy new ones. These are looking rather rough. Here they are.

Those don't look bad, after you finish the last three go back over with another coat. Theres plenty of ceramic paint still left in there!
debadged, clear corners, 20% tint, tinted tails, vibrant performance tips, red painted calipers, Fig. grills, autometer guages, PFYC 3 pod A pillar, SLP CAI, 2.5" DP, SD Hood, SD front air damn, Gen I spoiler, 17X8 Borbet Type M rims, engine upgrades soon!

yeah, but it says, to wait 5 days to add another coat if you wait longer than 2 hours. I did the one lastnight, can I add another coat this morning? How do you preserve the brush?

I redid the one I did lastnight, and it looks damn sharp. I put a fan on it this morning after I put that coat on, and it made a difference. It says 24 hours to drive, but if I did drive it with in say 18 hours, what would happen? I will take a better pic when I get the other front done, and dressed the tire.

Edit: I am doing the other front now, here is the before and after. Sorry about the sun, it hides the red some.
