My fiance has an 06 with the yellow fog lights. Are those wired for easy conversion to the split signal/driving lights found on the GT and GTP's?

Those amber lights aren't fog lights. They are parking lights/signal lights.

To answer your question, the short answer is no. You would need the stalk with the fog switch, the lights themselves, and then you would need to somehow have the BCM activate the lights. But then again anything is possible.

thanks, i know they aren't technically fog lights, but for some reason, gm decided to put turn signals down there anyway.

if only the switch wasn't in the stalk. would be much easier to do.

Oh well, thanks for the quick response!

If you really want the split lights down there, heres what I would do.

Get the lights you want installed, plug in the existing amber lights into their respective spots in the new lights and run wires to a relay and then an accessory port somewhere on your fuseblock, and find a hidden spot in the car for an on/off switch. Make sure that you get the fog light sockets and some wire so you can splice. Then just google how to wire up fog lights. I did it to my Jeep a while back and you wouldnt be able to tell that it was installed by me.

You can get real fancy and splice a power wire to one of your parking light wires, or dash light wires, so when the lights turn on, the fogs will get power and light up too.
