hello, new to the modding scene and i was just curious what size HID the spyder projector lights use? I have 9007 DDM tuning 10k HID and they are blue as a gay smurf and i was thinking of getting projectors and 6 or 8k HIDs any advise for me would be great! thanks

If you still want a blue tint, go with 6k, if you want something close to OEM white, go with 4300 or 5k. As far as the bulb size for the aftermarket projectors, I don't know for sure, but they are either H1 or H3.

spyder projectors use H1 low beams and a 6000K HID kit form ddm tuning is a definate win. thats the setup i have and i love them

i agree go with 6k, its white but has a blue hue to it, it looks really nice and matches the halos on my spyders pretty close.

By the way, you don't have to buy a new HID kit, you can use the one you have and just get the correct bulbs (in this case H1) for them to work with your new projector headlights. The bulbs are what determine the color too. So go get whatever color H1 bulb you want and save yourself from buying another kit

yes, the ballasts control brightness and output, the bulbs simply refelect what the color in the Kelvin scale they were made for
