Ive got an idea ive been toying with for a while now.. Figured id run it by the crowed get some reactions and maybe someone would be kind enough to photoshop something together to show me

i wanna take the rear bumper from a GT (97-03 style) and fill in the rear exhaust outlets with more plastic, so that the rear fascia is one solid piece, then since ive got an SE and only one exhaust pipe i wanna bend that down so it tucks down and is not visible anymore but still functional of course lol

I think it would be really unique and give a really clean look..

    questions, comments, concerns, photoshoppers?

that would look stupid....convert to duals and get some tips....

unless you did single tipped duals and filled the holes like you said but made circular cutouts for the tips....that would be hot.

You should fill everything in and do center exhaust. That would look cool. Give me a nice size photo of a rear and I'll try my hand at photoshopping it.

That would be real cool. I say try that.

But as far as your idea goes I say do it. Something different and original would be awesome to see. As long as it doesn't look ****ty and cheap that is.

center exhaust would destroy the Pontiac writing.. as far as it looking sh*tty etc, i would plastic weld in new material then fiberglass/Bondo them in nice and even with the rest of everything..

for a pic, just any one of the many rear end pictures of GT's around this forum lol
Ive got a green metalic car, gonna do a nice grey fascia like gunmetal grey or soemthing..

Or you could just fill in one side and do a single-outlet exhaust look with it. Imo center exhaust would look dumb. Especially because unless you filled and smoothed in the "PONTIAC" it would be like [___PONooIAC___]

Edit: Didn't see monkey already basically said that. =P

Get rid of the "Pontiac". Either have it blank or be a boss and do it like this:

    [Grand__oo___Prix]

    Be original!

i really think if you filled in your inlay of pontiac and did a denter exhaust that would look nice...but im not sure bout space..does the spare tire cubby hole get in the way? i mean try to photo shop it with a oval exhaust like Center exhaust corvette image by mattlenn on Photobucket .. i like that alot.. photo shop that in the bumper.. i might try this
    Shortstack Intercooler, 1.9 Rockers, 3.2 pulley,180 drilled T stat,103 plugs, U bend delete with no cat, thrush resinator,3inch pace setter cat back,shift kit,ZZP Chrome tips,,ZZP stage 2 throttle body,homemade 4 inch CAI,DHP tuned PCM,SSAC headers

i think center exhaust would look kinda dumb.. feel free to use the pic and change things up and see what its like...
this is by no means a project that is getting done soon.. hell id have to bend the exhaust pipe to not melt the bumper... its something id love to see someone photoshop together and see how it looks full sized so to speak

    I'm liking the single.

I did a clear on it and "center" on it. =P

    Aka: No

Looks okay, but still makes me think "SE" way too much.

Also, for the single, you wouldn't need to move the Pontiac over at all. It would just be a matter of removing the one side, taking off the tip and "bending the pipe down" then putting a nice double tip (like above) on the other side.

What about removing the gray part of the rear bumper & replacing it with the fake air diffuser on the GP Special Edition?
