The projectors were sold. I wanted to go with more of a stock look. I kind of wish I kept them, im dealing with aquarium corner lenses now.

I will be painting the rear tomorrow. The fogs are actually nokya 2700k bulbs. I didnt feel like going the HID route and wanted to see if I could get the look with halogen. I think the bulbs are great and are brighter than my stockers.

I definitely recommend painting the fascia for everyone!

The black blends in too much.

i would paint if if my car sat in the garage most of the time. Chips are going to be pretty noticable on that black.

All I did before painting was sand it down as much as I could, some scratches are too deep. I then painted and cleared it with wet sanding in between.

Clear coat will help protect the paint, however rocks hitting it will leave marks in the clear. I did 3 coats of clear I think.

i just redid mine about 3 weeks back. i sanded down to just the unpainted plastic, did 3 coats of paint and 4 coats of clearcoat. then after it dried, i armoralled the bumper. THEN i dove it, and six 95 mile trips to and from school later its all still black! you cant even see the chips until your face is an inch away, but they are still black so i think all that paint and clear helped

Agreed, looks mean, nice. I wanna do the same to my gp gt. I see you just used a black gloss and a clear.. What grit sandpaper did you use and did you use any primer before you painted or anything special for painting onto plastic?
