Call maaco and ask. I for one am not a painter so would not know. I do know it depends on where you go and on who does it. You can get it done in the backyard, in a garage for $5 to idk $40. If u want it done proper and look good you will have to shell out probably more than that. If you don't know anyone that paints pick up the phone book call shops and ask them the same question, then look at work the shop does and either use the least expensive one or the most expensive one or any other one in between
i wouldn't get a certifit i made that mistake on my firebird they dont like up right and they are made really cheap. when i took it to get painted the shop told me they wouldnt paint it cuz the parts are made with some kind of oil that paint doesnt like.
no they are just made poorly its like buy fruit loops and fruit o's yah the fruit o are much cheaper but taste nothing like fruit loops. ask them to let you see and you will what i am talking about they just look like cheap plastic. try and find an OEM bumper from a junk yard.
A good shop will have no problem getting the paint to stick properly using the right products to remove the release agents used during the molding procces and adesive promoters before priming and painting, but expect to pay 250+ for a quality job that will last. The biggest problem though is the fit and finish of that certi-fit bumper, expect it not to fit flush and have saging issues... my 2 cents...
