o ya that pic of them on the hood...times are tought when you need a workbench lol...actually i just sat them there to dry in between coats and whatnot...ill be buffing them in the morning...and my cousins tails he f*cked up cuz he lacks skills at certain things lol so we had to sand them down completely and redo them...they look a little better but should be nice after we buff them too
its cloudy out today but ill take sum pics after school. and keep in mind i still havent polished them yet
Hey guys so I re-did my tails. They were too dark for the daytime and I didn't wanna risk getting rear ended or pulled over. So I only used one coat and they turned out quite nice! First I used 80grit and orbital sander, then 140, then 400. One coat of vht and 3 coats of clear! Looks alot better then stock IMO and not too dark for the daylight. They're just right! I'll get sum pics up soon
80 is what they had at work so I used all their stuff lol. And I don't think it did much damage to the lense since I watched it to make sure I only took the vht off. I shoulda took pics throughout the whole process bit I only had my phone at the time. I'll get sum decent pics of them on the car now if I'm not sick tomorrow
Im waiting for someone to do this to there windows....
Really? Because on the can it has a picture of tail lights lol
Besides, if you did it to windows, wouldn't it be all sticky and not smooth like tint film?
The reason they say "For off road use only" is because there are no laws "off road".
"On road" your car has to operate like normal so having your tail lights tinted is illegal. They do that to cover their asses.
