oh, I didn't realize that you had to be signed in.... sorry about that. I'll try to find another spot to host it. This site won't host em for some reason....

I was wondering why it worked on 2 out of the 3 computers at my place.

threre is a very slight blue tint to the light, but you can't see it when in the driver's seat. I think the 6000k just look blue, which I don't like.

Like I really don't want blue yet I'm undecided in between 5000k and 4500k

4500 might have some yellow in it. I think I was origninally going to get the 55 watt ballasts, which would have adjusted the color a little; but I'm really happy with them.

Compared to all the 6000k lights that you see coming down the road, these look way better as there's a lot more white in it. It's up to you. You can always buy more bulbs if you aren't happy with em. *shrug*

Thanks again. Well 4300k is OEM and i love how like IS300's look w/ the yellow fogs plus 4300k's. So I think I'm just going to get the 4500k from ddm and then take it from there its cheap enough. Thanks!!

after driving my dads 09 G8 GT tonight, I think I'm finally ready to go HID !

So who knows a reliable company to buy HID's from?

    I'm thinking 35w ballasts 6000k for lows
    55w ballasts 6000k for highs
and 35w ballasts 6000k for fogs...

who's got the best kit thats not chinease made and burning longer than a month? =P

    DDM Tuning.

Don't go with HIDs in your high beams unless you use them for prolonged periods of time (long highway drives at night etc.) as firing and shutting them off is really bad for the ballasts and wear them out longer. FYI MY 2007 GP GT SE HAD REVERSE POLARITY.

I went with 2 55W kits from DDM Tuning (the 55W kits that are 5000k show almost like a 4000k because of the higher wattage)

Here are some pictures (I installed them last night).

Ouch really? it can burn up the ballasts because of turning them off and on alot? I just wanted something even brighter so when people flashed me, I could flash them back, obviously letting them know that my low beams were on!

and wow DDMtuning seems awesomely cheap! nice...

Everytime you flip your high beams on, the lows go off. Your low beams are changing just as much as highs, how is it any worse for the high beams then?

Mine stay on as well, no idea what he's talking about.

I wouldn't suggest buying some of those GE nighthawks or whatever for your highs instead of the stock bulbs as they are pretty bright and won't completely blind people and kill your ballasts.

I've got HIDs in my lows for now and soon to be fogs.
