is having underglow instantly classify you as a ricer nowadays? I know some kids with good underglow, not the cheap ****.. And idk it's still kinda cool in my eyes (don't hate me please) but what do you guys think? Neon=fail or it's ok or it's cool?

I personally think it's tacky. Rivers gave it a horrible look and that's what I classify it as now.

In all honesty man, I hate neons on any car. But if you think it looks good, which you said you do, Then just go for it. Your car is about what you like not what Grandprixforums.net likes. We might give you crap and flood your thread with ricer pictures but if YOU like it go for it.

i agree, do what YOU want for your car.. people here will tell you to do the same thing as everyone else, black wheels, tinted tails, projectors etc..

if you dont want that, then dont get it
if you want neon then do it
just be ready to take a bit of heat for it lol

personally Neon is for car shows/magazine covers.. but thats why someone invented switches, turn it on and off as you please.

Ya I have a buddy who did his and his friends neons and they have switches. It's the only "tacky" thing I would do to the car..no 20s nothin dumb, stock interior...it will look good in the end.. A couple years from now haha

i have neons in my interior where your feet go. the previous owner installed them and i never ripped them out.

on the outside of the car they are gay as all hell.

IMO, overdone by a certain scene and played out. They make a great car look tacky by association.

Do something truly unique with your car. There's a member on some of the forums (I don't remember if he's on here) who has red LED's in his grills. It looks mean as hell. I'm not telling you to do that (because then it wouldn't be unique), just giving you an idea of what you can do if you get creative.
