Thread: HID with stock housing????

Okay, I just picked up a '99 GTP for a daily driver. The stock headlights are not that good so I was looking for a solution for better night lighting.

Does adding an HID kit to the factory housing noticeably improve effective lighting? Does it make night driving much safer?

I have searched on this subject already, but what is one of the better recommended kits for the 97-03 cars?

Should a person just get low beam HID's or both low and high beam?

Is there a specific harness that everyone upgrades to for the new lights?

Bio, how much u selling those kits for?

HID's in stock housing is decent, much brighter but the pattern sucks. Not much you can do about it. Its a nice upgrade and I'd never go back to regular bulbs. If you want hi and low beams I'd say to get a set of projector head lamps with the HID's and then you'll be amazed by the difference.
