MY driver's side door sill is pretty damaged. There's a pair on eBay that are in good shape, but I've held off on buying them for one reason: I don't know how to reattach them. Is there anyone here who can help? (The Cadillac forum was no help at all doing my CTS.)

Which part is it? Is this the plastic trim that goes on the interior and covers the edge of the carpet, etc?

Gotcha. Those should just have black double sided tape on them IIRC. To get your old ones off I'd just run some heat on them from a hairdryer and pull some fishing line under it. Should cut the old tape and pop the covers off the body without damaging the paint.

And if they come without black double sided tape. as the ones on my CTS did, what is a substitute that will work adequately?

Should be able to pick up some 3M double sided tape at most parts stores. Usually is in the body/paint aisle.
