    Hello,
I am currently restoring a 97 SE. I Am finishing a complete interior swap with a charcoal vinyl interior from a 2000 GT. One question is; Has anyone figured out what to do about the crumbling brittle trim pieces that hold the vinyl to the top of the door panels? They seem to shatter if you breathe on them which makes it difficult for junk yard finds. When you think you found a good one, good luck getting it out in one piece... And you cant just leave them off because the vinyl will peal up off the door panel over time. Any suggestions would be welcome !
    Thanks,
    Derek

I'm in the same place myself. 3 out of 4 of the brittle top door moldings are broken on mine. I think one of the back ones is completely missing. Its annoying because the leather at the top of the door just kinda flaps around. I'd rather find replacement moldings than trying to glue the leather to stay in place.

Let me know which one you buy and how it works FixxerAuto, I'm likely to buy the same ones.

Maybe try the edge guard stuff the guy is talking about/shows in this thread? Never tried it myself but mine could use some new trim too so I might give it a go.
