Thread: Grand Prix GPX show car kit for 1997-2003 Gp's

Hi,

Do you guys know if the GPX kit is still being made? It was the 4 fender flares and front/rear bumper covers. I have been looking lately but can't find it.

It was the concept car for the 97-03 grand prix.

Pontiac Grand Prix 300 GPX

A company made a kit with the flares and the wider front/rear valence you would need to match the flares. It was $1500 if i remember correctly. A few guys did put it on their gp's, but its been better part of a decade since it came out. I have had the slp hood since 2001 but am thinking about doing the rest, if the kit still exists.

Good luck finding it now. Haven't seen that kit for well over 12+ years. You'd probably have better luck finding a used SD front lip and rear spoiler at this point.

Yeah, thats what i figured, but might as well ask and see for sure. Or, maybe someone has one and never used it. Thanks.

IIRC MPD who also made the f1 edition grand prix was the one who made a limited run of them. Most of the guys who purchased them back in the day (there wasn't alot because of the exorbitant price) had them blended into the fenders so they went with the cars wherever they ended up. I think at this point your only bet is trying to find someone good with fiberglass who can custom fab some for you.
