Work in progress. The hood scoop is actually from an old Chevy Beretta GTZ I had.
Lemme know what you all think.

are you going to put a high gloss paint job on it? I don't like the dull primerish look. I think it's going to look good if it's got a good paint job

I know its dirty. Yes I plan on painting it gloss, I work 70+ hrs a week. I also have a set of 20" Niche rims to go on, just waiting for the shoes.

Well, you asked... so... I don't think it will last very long and don't like the shape. That's not a dig, just opinion. I do like something about the shape of the openings but don't think anything tall looks good on these cars. Wish I could sound more encouraging but that's it all I got. Props for wanting to do something imaginative.

It won't look good with 20's. Be better to install lowering springs imo

I wasn't complaining, thanks for your opinion. I originally bought this car as a winter rat...
Now I am thinking about finding a southern 2 door. I have lowered cars before with good results at the cost of ride quality so I'm going to give these 20's (Against my better judgement) a run. they will have 335/25/r20 tires on it to maintain the factory size 26.6 I think it was.

335 will never fit. They are 13.2" wide.

245/35/20 is the size you need.

if you lower it right, ride quality won't suffer at all. if you can get a set of vogtlands or something comparable mounted on KYB AGX struts, which are a much better quality than oem.

I think it looks cool as long as it gets paint.

That looks really close to a Duraflex WS-6 hood. Props for making one yourself. I was going to try it but caught a good deal on an F1 hood so that made my plans moot, and much simpler other than getting the color changed on it.

Not my cup of tee, don't like hoods that come up too much.

255's fit, but rub and are probably the widest you can fit without modification and the 255's require rolling the fenders.

good luck though, don't forget to let us all see finished product

If I see a hood like that on a GP, the GP under that hood better have the power to back up such a statement.

Thanks for the feedback. The tire size was just what a website said was exact size match. I originally felt the 245 was the size. Ty.
I used fiber glass and epoxy to attach it to a stock hood. I didn't make it from scratch, it's an old fiberglass hood from a chevy beretta chopped to fit.
As far as backing it up.....
Best I got is msd and a smaller s/c pulley.

I hope you have the supporting mods for that smaller pulley, or you'll be looking for a used motor eventually. Just tryin to save you some headache in the future.
