As much as I like my GXP being a sleeper, I wanted it to look a little more sporty and for other people to know it has a V8. So I found these little 5.3L gems on ebay for about $5 a piece!

I thought those were standard on all GXP's. apparently not. are they functional at all or just for looks?

If you are referring to the 5.3L emblem, yes, totally functional. They add at least 15HP per badge.
