how far(what psi) have turbo guys taken head bolts before lifting the heads? Been running 17psi on my twinchg setup for a bit now with no issues. Ran the car with 15-16 on a 2.6 pulley for over 1.5 yrs pre-twin, without issue.
Thanks for any input.

Depending on who you talk to it seems the limits that most people push them are right around 18psi. Most people that have a build pushing up there already have ARP head studs.
Let us know when you find the limit
lol yeah, i would be lying if i said i wasnt a little nervous. The studs are sittin in my shop ready for install. i just couldnt bring myself to tear it apart to install them prior to the twin setup. maybe ill turn that boost controller down.....
also, people seem to always seem to talk bad about the mls gaskets, but they have been on my car for, i think 4 years now, holding strong. i dunno

We'll find out on the 29th now won't we lol
I'm considering it! Do I want to wait for a tow truck or drive home......
Sounds like you both should. Heck.. you could egg on the tow truck guys to race once they pick ya up.
Dan, I think most of the bad talk about MLS come from guys installing them improperly. There's a few different ideas abot how best to install them. Also new/used may make a difference.
Vague and condescending, status quo for DH.
If you lift the head you lift the head LOL
