Sup all? It's been a while since I've posted.

I'm finished with the A2A set up upgrade. I had the ZZP W2A IC system. I kept it when I upgeaded to turbo since it always worked and I didn;t have the money to upgrade. I'm upgrading now because the W2A is holding me back around 75+ whp.

The install went pretty good. The only major things I had to do was cut away some metal from car itself so the piping would fit w/o hitting anything. I had to cut some the bracket that holds the bumper support. This way the pipe wouldn't hit the fog light housing. I had to cut away some metal where the pipes come into the engine bay. The piping obviously has to be cut to match each other when connecting them since it's a custom kit.

The IC core I got from treadstoneperformance.com. I ordered the piping from cxracing.com and I ordered a piece of Phenolic material online to make a spacer between the UIM and LIM. I wanted to keep the 2.5" spacing that the W2A IC core had. Keeps the piping off the turbo housing. I also upgraded to PRJ plug wires and added a tranny cooler fan.

Here a bunch of pics. A lot of the piping was straightened out.

Wow this thread is back from the dead. LOL

Here is the info on the IC piping.

I bought the piping from CXRacing.com.

I emailed them and made a special order. The kits on ebay include pipes you don't need. I did have some piping left over but I rather have more then come up short

Here is the piping I bought from them
    1 – J pipe
    3 – Straight pipes
    2 – 90º L pipe
    2 – 45º pipes
    2 – 45º hose couplers
    6 – straight hose couplers
25 - T-bolt clamps (Some may vary in size if you have transition hoses)

This does not include the transition hose couplers for the IC core, turbo and MAF. Sizes can vary depending on set up.

    2 - 3” to 2.5” (IC core)
    1 – 2” to 2.5” (Turbo)
    1 – 3.5” to 2.5” (MAF)

What size piping did you go with 2.5 or 3.0 & is that piping holding up to the boost ?

The piping is 2.5". Holds up with no problems

I'm glad this came up again. This way guys can see what is used for a turbo setup.

Be careful, I believe Sal uses the car mostly for drag, so he has his own reasons to delete the front bumper support. If you get a large enough front mount, you would most likely need to do this also. Its not totally unsafe, but it is another piece of metal protecting you from really messing up yourself or the car.

It will be cheaper to get all the piping and front mount on your own. You can get a smaller FM, model# TR10 (I think), that should fit behind the bumper support.

I will be making a bar that will go across in front of my car soon. This way I am a little protected.

I really only use my car on the weekend if I have a chance and at the track.

hood clearance because of the IC core under the intake. The SD hood was hitting with only one set of spacers.
