Autozone has a -4an line that is 6 ft for $40, and zzp has a -4an line that is 4 ft for like $60ish. Is 2ft that big of difference, besides a little extra line in the engine bay? Thx

You do know..you could buy the lower cost one as long as the specs are correct and cut it.
I don't buy this type of stuff from ZZP as their prices plus shipping are usually higher than the parts store for an equal product.
Since you aren't really saying much..I have no idea what you are replacing. Thinking it's a trans line. If so.. rubber is fine. That's what GM used and they last for years
It's mostly me that misunderstood. I live on the "new posts" button and don't always notice which section. I assumed trans lines.
most of it is rubber anyways.
Just some fancy braid around it.
Very few actually sell PTFE lines.
And those that do are either ebay esque places like frozenboost.com or others like a place that claims they meet SAE 30R7 yet are rated for 1500 psi
30R7 is carb fuel pressure levels working (~50, ~250 burst), 30R9 is injection fuel pressure levels (100 working, 900 burst).
I realize you're not replacing fuel lines here but I'm just providing examples here.
i have custom -4an line for the feed in my car and -10an as the drain. you can buy all the fittings from jegs or summit. summit usually price matches just be prepared for the 10$ handling charge so make sure you buy all the fittings. i run the stainless line because of the heat.dont waste the money on the zzp cheap rubber hose. ill have all the line sizes tomorrow to help you out.
